The Abeille Royale recently launched two new face creams: Honey Treatment Day Cream and Honey Treatment Night Cream. I must admit I have not tried their skincare in the past and was ecstatic to receive samples from such an iconic French legacy brand. The appeal of the Abeille Royale collection is that it is derived from and focused on two of my favorite anti-ageing ingredients, Black Bee Honey and royal jelly.
The new formula for the face creams is comprised of two new result driven ingredients: polyfragmented hyaluronic acid which aids your skin in retaining moisture and plumps your skin. And hexapeptide, acting like a low dose of Botox in other words it lessens the appearance of wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions. The creams are loaded with powerful bee products that aid in collagen loss as we age.
The new face cream glass refillable jars have a gorgeous a luxurious gold lid and hexagonal honeycomb shape. I appreciate that they are light and easy to travel with and or carry in one’s bag

Honey Treatment Day Cream
When applying the Day Cream, I first noticed the light creamy medium weight texture and the delectate fragrance. I’m not a huge fan of fragrances in skincare that aren’t natural, however the honey scent is an added luxurious sensorial experience.
I applied a small amount over the Double R Renew & Repair Advanced serum. the Day Cream absorbed quickly into my skin. A little goes a long way in terms of efficacy. The gel like texture felt like a light protective barrier, and a perfect foundation base as there wasn’t any sticky residue left on my skin which can complicate makeup application.
The overall results after 30 days left my skin hydrated, some minimalizing of fine lines, no break outs. I would suggest his cream layered with the serum to those with normal to dry skin types.

HONEY TREATMENT NIGHT CREAM
The richness of this cream at first touch melted into an easy to apply texture. After it absorbed into my skin it had a slight barrier acting as a seal or bandage that held the effects of the anti-aging ingredients on the surface of my skin. I’d say like applying a very light mask without residue. A luxurious anti-aging experience overall including the light honey scent.
After 30 days of applying this cream, my skin had a velvety soft texture. Along with firmness and an overall hydrated feel and zero product residue. I would highly recommend this cream for its line minimizing and firming results if you’re over 30 and your skin needs a boost of natural Honeybee collagen. I will add that my skin did not react to this product with breakouts or redness, a testimony to its gentle well formulated ingredients

Double R Renew & Repair Advanced Serum
The Double R Serum glass bottle design is as gorgeous as what you would expect from a fragrance. It’s unique dual chamber design splits the formula (composed of 96% naturally derived ingredients). One chamber is loaded white a white honey which restores radiance and packed with a AHAS slow-release process along with resurfacing PHAS. This formula renews your skin by dissolving dead skin via using three types of AHAs and PHAs for a renewed feel. When I applied the lightweight serum its fast absorption process left my skin with an immediate hydrating firmness. I used it twice a day under the Day Cream and the Night cream for maximum results. DOUBLE R RENEW & REPAIR EYE SERUM
This amazing lifting eye serum’s silky texture and quick to penetrate one’s skin. The formula is both luxurious and result driven. The texture is a lighter version of the face serum, easy to apply and quickly absorbed into my skin around my eye area. The Dual chamber bottle is a serum with dual benefits. One side contains white honey a radiance activating formula to brighten the under-eye circles. The complex ractured hyaluronic and peptides aid in brightening. The second chamber contains a formula infused with their dynamic Black bee technology for a lifting, tightening, while the tensing poly-ferments honey sourced from bio-rich environments targets all signs of aging in the eye contour area.
After 30 days of twice a day usage I will confirm it does minimize fine lines, some of the morning puffiness and under eye circles. My eyelids were nourished without eye cream residue. My lashes are also healthier. I recommend this to anyone over 30 and who understands the anti-aging value that honey and Royal Jelly offer, while supporting the bee population.
