Summer Eye Makeup Essentials
As we head into the summer continuing social distancing and wearing masks, our eyes now have the center stage.
I want to highlight some of my favorite eye make-up products that ensure a subtle but chic statement look for day or night. My day eye look starts with Retrouve’s Revitalizing Eye Concentrate, the: I apply bit of under eye HD concealer by Makeup Forever.
My eyes are ready for my eye lash conditioner/ primer: LANCÔME Cils Booster XL Vitamin-Infused Mascara Primer. Once that dries after a minute or two, I add a medium coat of water proof volumizing mascara by Chanel or Lancome . Statement mascara can often be enough, however if I need a bit more of a statement eye I’ll add my absolute favorite eye liner pencil: Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil. It blends beautifully and the pigment is perfect and long lasting smokey eye effect. Next I’ll apply a tiny amount of the Lighter eyeshadow tones on my lower and mid eye lid from the LES 4 Ombres in Blurry Mauve by Chanel .
For a dramatic statement eye I like to use the Signature de CHANEL intense longwear eyeliner pen in black and blend in the darker tones of the CHANEL LES 4 Ombres in Mauve Blurry eye shadow. The important factors these products maintain are: long-wearing, easy application, and an immediate effect without having to reapply or layer, as I don’t like to spend more than 5-7 mins applying makeup.
I have tried many cosmetic brands and I keep returning to these particular beauty products as the pigment and overall look has a natural yet sultry, sheer hue without looking overdone.

CHANEL Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil
An eye pencil that delivers high drama and rich, intense color.

How to use: Line along the inside edge of the upper and lower lid to create depth and intensity.
