Chanel Cleansing Collection
The Anti-pollution cleansing collection Launched in 2018 has a few defining differences from their other cleansing products. Our skin cells need protection from the micro -stress we are exposed to via air pollution, their new cleansing products are perfect for my combination skin, that suffers from constant irritation and breakouts while wearing a PPE mask. I adore the experience of using Chanel beauty products, the textures and results are truly effective, all while delivering the sublime luxurious experience.
Step 1: LE GEL Cleanser
The cleansing gel transforms into a soft, rich creamy foam, a small dab goes a long way. The unique formula includes ingredients such as marine salicornia, blue micro-algae for hydration strengthening the skin. My breakouts were minimized while consistently using the cleaning gel. The formula gently removed layers of sunscreen, oily build up from long hours wearing a mask and also removed makeup. It’s gentle for all skin types, I will suggest it especially for oily skin as it will control the increased sebum one’s skin produces often triggered by maskne.

Step 2: LE GOMMAGE Anti-Pollution Exfoliating Gel
Exfoliating; a vast and sometimes confusing description for removing impurities and dead skin cells. Due to my sensitive skin this is the least irritating option:
CHANEL’s LE GOMMAGE is a gentle, effective formula with active ingredients; marine spring water to hydrate and nourish, purple micro-algae for cell respiration. The natural-origin jojoba beads escalate the luxurious melting jelly like effect while massaging into one’s skin. It’s a perfect step to reduce the irritation and maskne.

Step 3: LE MASQUE Anti-Pollution Vitamin Clay Mask
CHANEL’s clay mask is a great vitamin-rich skin detoxifying product. I admit I don’t always make time to do daily masks, however this product is perfect when my skin needs balanced, pore minimizing shine free, radiant glow associated with my maskne. Le Masque is ideal for my skin when I apply a thin to medium layer and leave on
for 10-15 mins, this allows for the incredible formula to remove impurities, whilst hydrating and nourishing my skin. The vitamin rich formula isn’t overpowering in scent or texture, it’s a light peach tone so I hardly notice it’s there considering the overall results it yields. It’s perfect for 2-3 applications a week for my skin to appear renewed, brighter and balanced.

Step 4: HYDRA BEAUTY CAMELLIA REPAIR MASK
The white camellia is the symbolic heart of the CHANEL brand and skincare line. The Camellia Repair mask is an absolute luxurious product and for me personally a symbol of ultimate self-care. As my combination skin has areas which need extra hydration I found with this multi -use mask I could apply at night for deep hydration or light layer before I apply my sunscreen to Prep & plump my skin. The hydrating mask is formulated with key ingredients derived from the white camellia, which penetrate the skin barrier as well as deep layers of the skin tissue for a complete hydration result. Some of the key, signature camellia ingredients which support and ensure nourishing benefits which are encapsulated in micro-droplets. The lightweight texture absorbs quickly into the skin.
