Chantecaille Anti-aging Serums
Luckily my longtime interest in the luxury French skincare family owned brand Chantecaille was gratified by given the opportunity to try some of their noteworthy, iconic serums and 2 of their new products : Radiance Elixir and the CBD 300 cream. I wanted to take a deep look into the brand’s manifesto and understand who created such an iconic brand , which is made from pure botanicals, flowers, essential oils, and more.
The founder Sylvie is not a beauty industry neophyte. She started the award winning Chantecaille in 1997 which is a brand that is synonymous with luxury beauty. They have excelled in skincare, makeup and fragrance categories and are : cruelty free, no mineral oil,Palm oil, Phthalates, Pertolatum, synthetic colors, synthetic Fragrances and no GMOs.
Before her eponymous line was created ; she was based in NYC and instrumental in launching Diane von Furstenberg’s cosmetic brand in the ‘70s. Her other notorious brand she built was Prescriptives with Estée Lauder in 1979.
Chantecaille is known for its exceptional quality using international ingredients as well being one of the few brands to employ florals ( roses from Grasse) from Sylvie’s native France. Roses from Grasse which are typically used in perfume, are used in many of their best selling skincare products, specifically the Rose de Mai collection. They produce seasonal embossed palettes dedicated to protecting the environment and endangered species, including coral reefs, elephants, and honey bees.
CHANTECAILLE Bio Lifting Serum
This innovative serum is moisturizing and absorbs into the skin without a residue. My experience with most serums is they tighten the skin rather than moisturize.
What I enjoyed about this light formula is that it doesn’t conflict with other products I applied after. If you have oily skin this product is an ideal moisturizer that won’t trigger breakouts. I tried this product under my daily face SPF and it added the needed long-lasting moisture which some sunscreens lack. One of the innovative ingredients in this product is the raspberry stem cell extract which reduces the appearance of redness, soothes dry skin for the long term, and is a major anti-oxidant. The other key, effective anti-aging ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid, Marsh Sapphire extract, Panang Ginseng, Imperata Cylindrica Extract, Rose, Bionymph Peptide Stem Cell. This Serum is unique in the world of Serums and luxury skincare as it provides buildable hydration in such a luxurious texture.
CHANTECAILLE Blue Light Protection Hyaluronic Serum
The meticulous , plant derived formulation this product worked wonders in re boosting my skin while spending endless hours in front of my computer. I was unaware that the damaging HEVL ( High energy visible light ) can in fact penetrate the skin and contribute to the breakdown of collagen , and trigger hyper pigmentation, inflammation. My lifestyle like many consists of many hours exposed to harmful blu light emitted from Television, phone screens and computers . This serum is suitable for all skin types. Their unique blend of botanicals is designed to protect the mitochondria in the skin, so the blue light is not able to affect the skin’s collagen production and accelerated ageing is prevented. This is my new favorite go to product as it’s light ,formula gives an instant glow and the needed protection while I’m devoted to hours of screen time.

CHANTECAILLE Blanc Gardenia Brightening Essence
The Blanc Gardenia Brightening essence is a potent yet lightweight concentrate with exceptional brightening blend of ingredients. It’s an ideal first layer of skincare before I applied my moisturizer , and blends well with other products. I’d suggest this serum as a nighttime and daytime first layer of skincare. The exclusive plant stem cells and powerful botanical extracts help minimize the appearance of dark spots to deliver a luminous, bright and enviably even looking skin tone. White Gardenia Stem Cells Extract promotes brighter and firmer looking skin and is rich in soothing components,Lipoaminoacid and Niacinamide prevent new discoloration from appearing and support an even-looking complexion. Suitable for all skin types, especially sun damaged, aging skin.
CHANTECAILLE Radiance Elixir
I’ve noticed this new Chantecaille product being used by established A-List makeup artists while onset recently for some of our celebrity shoots and I thought this must be more than a skin prep product for photo shoots. When I applied the semi-opaque slightly thick liquid it felt more like a light soluble gel on my skin. It’s potent formula gave my skin an illuminated radiance. The Radiance Elxir is infused with intelligent new botanicals including a Skin Awakening Peptide. This result driven ingredient boosts the skin’s barrier lipid in the early daytime hours and a smoothing Cristal Peptide that amplifies clarity and promotes a rosey complexion. Tomato derived colourless carotenoids offer an innovative redness reduced effect in daylight. This product formula gave my skin an immediate glow and effective long-term skincare benefits when I used daily under my SPF or overnight which enabled my skin to replenish, when I checked my skin in the morning the overall effect was a visibly radiant glow.
CHANTECAILLE CBD 300 Face and Body Cream
CBD is trending not only as a anti inflammatory , pain relieving supplement but has also been highlighted ( Not yet proven ) to aid in shrinking cancerous tumors, a pain killer ,and a sleeping aid. Now that the skincare industry is embracing CBD to include in skincare , it’s important to ensure you read the ingredients and see if it’s diluted with fillers.
The new Chantecaille CBD 300 is a rich cream formula with 300 milligrams of cannabidiol along with botanicals like cherimoya extract to provide a calming effect. It’s formulated to use on the face and body, as a stress-relieving skincare. It was an ideal rich yet quick to absorb cream to apply after a long day in the southern California sun. It visibly reduced the inflamed , redness that comes with extreme heat. I highly recommend as a uni sex product to use after stressful environmental conditions including below zero wind chill conditions. Or after an intense work out , as it also relieved my slight muscle soreness.
